14 of the 40 or so park rangers that fled from Virunga NP after it was attacked have made it go Goma. A few other rangers remained at the park headquarters, Rumangabo, and still others’ whereabouts are unknown. Goma itself is not safe at the moment, as there is widespread looting and fighting. Hopefully this will all quiet down soon.
